Whether politicians are to the left or right,
In the middle or . . . slightly to either side,
There comes a time when not to in-fight,
When it is really about changing the tide,
Stupid pettiness . . . for only party gain,
That can only aid our foes abroad and from within,
When it should be about refrain,
With the united goal for us all to win.
So, think first what's best for us,
And not how to trick and stall,
That deadlocks and causes a fuss,
Remembering who votes for you . . . and all. |
