Mourning / Grief

Spin
by Elizabeth A. Merrow

I watch fearfully
As the world spins
I'm getting slightly dizzy
I should have listened to my friends.

They said that I shouldn't
Since they didn't really trust him
But I ignored their pleas
And I am growing dim.

This isn't fair, not one bit
I can't move right
I'm under the car
And I'm losing my sight.

They say it was his fault
He was the one that was speeding
If it was all his fault
Why am I the one bleeding?
