The sorrows of my heart I wouldn’t exchange, For a million smiles if someone must arrange! Verily in my heart the sublime world I’d raise, That wings my muse and stirs my heart ablaze.
Midnight and my aloofness, muse and my tears, I’ve resigned colours of life and defeated fears! My secret luxury ah I’ll never tell whereto end, A soul, my heart and eternity together all blend.
Tears exalt my heart and unveil the long hidden Secrets that tasked my mind and joys forbidden, I’ll mirror them in teary eyes to perfection keep, And whip my heart when death lulls me to sleep.
Whose cords I play, my eyes so weary and worn, Golden kisses pressed upon by the light of morn, An awakening, love guarded the sweetness afore, Who knewth? A surge or squall but I was ashore.
Tears and within a cup; whirl a thousand world! A glimpse is worthier than say a thousand word! Doubtless and sure onward goes the pious band! Singing the song of praise to the Promised Land!
Desire craves as love embraces and time ranges, In a single perpetual breath the infinite changes! From the land of ephemeral colours and stories, I was rallied along attired in raiment of glories!
Wisdom doubts, wits flounder what I have spake, The love which a few capture, to that I am awake, Passions are flying! Waves soaring amid thunder, For a million joys, I wouldn’t my tears surrender. |
