Mourning / Grief

In 2001
by Jean L. Brackebush

In 2001 I lost the best Mom
God took her away
My world was now gone
My Mom died so suddenly
So out of the blue
She left without saying
What she already knew
For she knew in her heart
It was her time to go
She just couldn't tell me
She didn't want me to know
Everyday I keep wanting
To call you and say
What's happening to us
And how Brittany has changed
We miss you like crazy
And want you to know
That we love you for always
From here down below
In 2001 my Mom had to go...
