Gone Too Soon by David G. Bancroft | Emotions so deeply felt for all those tragically dealt with the mournful loss of a loved one whose life was far from done and tearfully... none more so than those we know who just begun to experience the innocent fun of being a child playing in the sun, a toddler attempting to talk, or a baby learning to walk.
Heartfelt prayers go out for the children who are without the nurturing love of a parent taken above with the hope of them finding comfort from caring family support, and that the terrible hurt fades away into a sad memory one day, where they can just be happy in play. | David G. | | It is hoped that this poem represents in someway how all deeply feel, who have experienced the loss of a loved one well before a normal life span. So, many young ones lost due to wars, natural disasters like the late-December 2004 tsunami in the Indian Ocean, unthinkable genocide, murder, hunger, disease, accidents, and other terrible events . . . And the sadness felt for the littlest ones left without one or both parents. |
