Mourning / Grief

She had a little raven and said,
"Listen to me,
if we work together,
I can set you free."

She opened its cage,
and slowly reached inside,
but surely the raven tried to hide.

She whispered, "Did you not hear me,
I can set you free,
free for all eternity as I wish to be,"
climbed a roof top wishing to see it soar,

Slip she did, falling to the floor,
slowly she closed her eyes,
knowing she would die,
as she softly hit the ground.

She finally found all her dreams,
and all her fears hidden
in all her screams from
all the years they were...

lost in all her unshed tears.
