Mourning / Grief

Cancer
by
Ashleigh Melling

I'm writing this poem,
Thinking of you,
Never knew what that thing could do,
Just a little white stick,
That I put in my mouth,
Now as I die it's pulling me south.

Losing My Hair,
Losing My life,
Leaving behind my supportive wife,
But worse of all what about the kids,
They'll have no dad,
Never Thought about that,
Wish I had.

I Can't Think straight
It's that bloody machine
All I can hear
Is Beep, Beep, Beep
All night long
Beep, Beep, Beep
All Day Long But what happens when the beep stops?
What Happens when I hear...
Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep,
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
