You find comfort in my pain,
happiness in my tears
and power in my weakness.
I sit and ponder all that I have accomplished,
while I have been by your side
unfortunately my list ends before it begins.
I think that it is time I venture out on my own
make a bold move
and a new name
try to live on my own and provide for myself.
Once I looked in the mirror
and I realized my reflection
was turning a cold shoulder,
which lead to a frozen back
and walked away.
