Love and Romance

Trace Heart Upon Wounds Remains
by Peter A. Rosado

Now I say good luck, good-bye,
I thought I was going to die,
Dreams vanished without a -trace-.
for your error of believing a lie.

A bridge, disappeared by people’s hate,
By a force, we could not bare.
That bridge, linked me to your -heart-,
By your looks and how you stared.

Love, gone by misunderstanding,
Like a chopper in a rough landing.
Difficulties we came -upon-,
Problems we were not handling.

Ourselves we could not heal,
I thought our love was for real.
Pain of suffering created -wounds-,
By something that was unreal.

Why didn’t you ever believe?
I wasn’t wrong, I’d never deceive.
A scar now forever -remains-,
My heart and soul will never relieve.
