But his reality wasn’t quite that way.
Lonely walking, the path for me.
Diary, the only one to hear my plea.
Love, pain, why is it that way?
Why, say they love but never stay?
Hoping and longing for love to remain.
Can I find one to love, not cause pain?
Tears flow and flow no one to care or see.
Why doesn’t anyone truly care for me?
Longing for ages, holding me dear.
When satisfied my pleas no longer to hear.
Waiting, hoping, but never the phone to ring.
He’s conquered, and conquest makes him king.
Physical love and then he is through.

Holding, Kissing, and walks in the park.
Sunsets and the song of a flying lark.
Sharing an ice cream just us two together.
Walking with him through all sorts’ of weather.
Now I am walking single, all alone.
Love faded and soon was gone.
Holding strong is what makes it last.
Surrender to him then becoming the past.
Hopeless cycle round and round for me.
