Our walk together
has been through all types of weather,
taken many interesting turns
with some difficult concerns
over more than one bumpy road,
but has never slowed
and has bestowed
upon us so much...
like the tender touch
of each other,
being a proud father and mother,
enjoying our wonderful children grow,
seeing them play in the sun, rain, or snow,
and all the happiness they give
us each day that we live
with none more so than becoming parents,
allowing us to give their adorable little ones presents,
spoiling them all with love
with our Lord smiling from above,
knowing that we have tried our best
in our life's quest
of being one together
that we will share forever
when we join God's flock
for our heavenly walk. |
