Today I found a butterfly
to tell him of my wish.
I didn't have to worry
cause I knew he could not speak.
The only one he'd ever tell
was God, who said to him,
"If she sets you free to fly
then I'll make her wish come true."
Soon she'll hear from heaven.
I'll make her dreams come true.
She'll have her wish granted
as soon as she frees you.
Down came a kaleidoscope
of pretty butterflies,
and the wish I wished upon
came rushing to my side.
He was the one in all my dreams.
God made my dreams come true.
