Time has passed and my heart has healed,
from all the anger and frustration I used to feel.
They say time will mend a broken heart,
but all it’s done is made us grow farther apart.
So many days and nights you lied,
I decided to throw all the years we had tried.
As each day passed by, our love became a lie.
As each month went by, I got tired of the lies.
Our children did not deserve this divorce,
but, you never showed any remorse.
Yes, time has passed and you still feel shame,
because you know it will never be the same.
You had me once and yet you gave yourself to another,
something that you know was so wrong for a mother.
Thank You, for the life lessons I’ve learned,
