Life and Time

Bubble Mirror
by Errol Lamb

I live within
A bubble, I know
A place I created
A long time ago

Protection from
The world outside
It gave to me
A place to hide

It's dark in here
Don't you see
My bubble reflects
I think I must be

But, what do I see
What do I hear
Another, ____
Bubble mirror

Two mirrors
Face to face
Infinite reflections
Place to place

Never to touch
Never to see
What is you
And what is me

My mirror is faded
From tarnish within
Corroded badly
From tears and sin

The place I created
Is no longer here
The bubble is bursting
That is my fear

Must I stand naked
For all to see
If there's a God
He better help me
