Ah the time in which it is said
is the time in which I lay down to bed
to pardon my thoughts and to spare a good deed
and follow my dreams to wherever they may lead.
To render myself useless or boast or brag
to notice my thoughts, in high hopes or sag
to cheer up the souls of those who are in need
to practice the truth and let it succeed
To slender the term for cruel or unfair
or the lost battles that yes, we declare
If often you pose to impress your peers
then they were not loyal, for all of these years
Whether you met them two weeks ago, or known them for long
The battles you face, yes you must stay strong
for there is always tomorrow to bring forth more say
and lead on your life, like you would every day
So peace and quiet after all of the days
and making people happy in so many ways
to pardon the good thoughts and to spare the good deeds....
