There is a journey we must make-
Along this road called life-
It all began the very day-
When first we started life.
For some the road is long and easy-
For others it is not-
So many side roads we can take-
Its easy to get lost.
The side roads we take along the way-
Oft hold our destiny-
One road can bring us joy of life-
The other only strife.
Some roads are marked "all clear ahead"-
Some say "beware of rocks"-
Proceed only if you dare-
Maybe safe, but maybe not.
The life we lead, along the way-
Depends on the road we choose--
Carefully choose the road you take-
