Over silent waters, evening shadows cast,
Reflections of the distant past.
Of life, that lingered long ago,
In this special place, at sunsets glow.
How long the days that have gone by,
White clouds in the summer sky.
In the quiet afternoon,
The calling of a lonely Loon.
How quickly, Nature's time has past,
A fading shadow, upon the waters cast.
Now I stand beside the sea,
Knowing my Soul will soon be free.
In the end, we'll leave the Earth,
Never knowing what, our life is worth.
Life and Love is a special Gift,
And soon our God, our Soul will lift. |
