Where did they all come from?
These creatures in disguise,
unseen phantoms bringing
fire from the skies,
and halted moment's dust is
scattered in their wake...
They destroyed our mankind
for humanities sake.
Thousands lay in rubble
in the early morning mist,
immortal... Their names are
on the ever growing list,
whispered into prayers,
carried into dreams.
At least their souls... Their flesh
is crushed by iron beams.
So, where are they hiding,
our enemies so brave,
while thousands carry
loved ones to the grave...
Their people are laughing,
in glory they bask,
sanctified by evil
that is hidden by their masks... |
