Fashions Now and Then

Fashions blow in
And leave as fast
As they chic our closets.

So much money
Women invest
Then give away-sell cheap.

The Israelites
Hadn’t this problem
The men nor the women.

Women didn’t grow
Bursa’s on their
Feet nor did their feet swell.

No laundry touched
Their hands. They wore
Their fashions forty years.
