Birds of Pray

Angels of heaven
With missions to tell
Of a soul searching Raven.
Horns on their head
Or halo 'round brow
The voices have said
Beware of the Crow.
A virgin voice sings
Wicked laughter so hallow
Prayers sent on wings
Come quick as the Sparrow.
Satan-posed hate
Denying God's love
Receiving 'tis own fate
Defying the Dove.
Unheeding wrath
Sweat bliss-sounding harp
Follow the path
Of the melodious Lark.
Aspired saint-vision
Behold spectral walk
With keen eyes given
Of an intuitive Hawk.
A peace heaven-made
An inferno of sin
Commandments bade
The upwardly Wren.
Like sapient sages
The serpent some how
Avoids the cages
With wisdom like Owl.
Nation of pride
Justice so regal
And spirited ride
