The Ram's Point of View
by Carol Dee Meeks

The Ram
Saw his target
My brother
Nose-first in the tackle box
At the County Fair
What a view
My brother’s buns
Inside the denim.

The Ram struck
My brother’s head hit the wall
The lid fell.

The Ram aimed
To strike again
The soft flesh was gone
He hit the side of the wood box
Then fell

The Ram arose
Turned
Looked at my brother
As if to say
Thank you
Have a great day!
