Bob Cat
by
Linda Coker

Lily had a funny cat
His name was Bob
And he was fat.

He had 3 legs,
His tail was bent,
She took him
Everywhere she went.

He liked the car,
He liked the bus,
He traveled well,
He was no fuss.

One day she took him
On a boat
That day she learned
That Bob could float.

He saw a fishy
Swimming by
He dove right in--
And that is why

He’ll never ride
A boat again,
He gets his fishies
From a can.
