Horror and Mystery

Vampire
by Amanda Harris

She roams in the midst of the night,
Seeking her vengeance,
And hidden in shadows from our sight.

The moonlight shining off her pale skin,
As she slowly begins to change,
Her anger unleashes from within.

Her small, dark eyes burning with fire,
She comes across her victim,
Deadly fangs released with intolerable desire.

The inescapable fear, driving sanity insane,
Her fangs tear through the flesh,
Causing the cruelest pain.

Slowly but surely, she sips the life,
Of a helpless victim,
Who could not put up a single fight.

He falls dead and cold, blood scattered on the ground,
She slowly drifts away,
Forever a lost soul never to be found...
