Holidays and Seasons

We Love Our Fall
by Patricia Fritsche

Air flowers from seed trumpets
whether good or bad,
orchard journals
senses creased, somehow.

Maturing space
no hangman game necessary here,
being filled with its crowning laughter.

First whittled snack
please drink of golden delicious rays,
spread on from its bodily preserves.

Gingham bushel smiles and applauds
holdings of such taste.
Spherical effort hikes on forward
meeting of purebred enjoyment.

Selection functional
once again, one by one stand at attention
stilts removed from any worry
season's play on taste is won.
