God bless you all my children
for God made everything alright.
He gave us Christ his only son
who died for us one night.
Come Easter time we all remember
just what happened long ago.
Christ died for us, and rose again,
to show the love he could bestow.
Upon that cross he forgave us all
and for the sins of all mankind.
We celebrate this time of year
and its purpose we must remind.
Christ died that day and rose again,
so that we could do the same.
Upon the time we leave this world
we'll do it in his name. |
