'Tis Christmas time in the city,
and throughout our countryside.
When shoppers look for treasures,
in which they'll give with pride..
It's Christmas in those mansions,
that set high upon the hill.
It's also Christmas in this cottage,
with a single candle on its sill.
At Christmas time choirs sing,
about our dear saviors birth.
For in that little far away manger,
he brought hope to this here earth.
It's Christmas most everywhere,
it's a season that's set apart.
The dearest heart filled Christmas,
is the Christmas in our heart. |
