In Tikrit, Iraq
by Carol Dee Meeks

In Tikrit, Iraq,
That’s where
We’re at.

A new regime
With “old-hat” ways
Prolongs USA days
In hostile times
Just different crimes.

560 is the number
Who’ve met their slumber
In war a world away
To change the people
Change their ways, need background sway.
