The Day of Terror
by
Amanda Polley

September eleventh,
What a tragic day?
Some people got out.
Others had to stay.
We all watched in fear,
As the first tower fell.
And we couldn't hold back,
From shedding a tear.
All day at school,
We stared at the T.V.
It wasn't very cool,
Of what we had to see.
At the end of the day,
There was a pile of rubble.
Everyone had to pray,
For all of the trouble.
