Wanting to get word to you is an easy want,
but actually getting through to you,
is the part I find difficult.
And it's that thought
that I hold on to,
to get through to you
with word that hits home,
cuts to the bone,
or triggers a thought or feeling in you,
even to just secretly say, "That's nice." |
