Vampire
by
Naomi Den Besten

He comes into my room at night after the hour of midnight
why I do not know.
he follows me every night after sun set,
although I do not see him,
or hear him yet I know he's there.
I feel a cold shill across my spine.
Why does he follow me?
Is he lonely?
Or does he like stalking people?
He is a vampire this I do know, yet I am not afraid.
He can kill me at will yet he does not.
I've seen him once he looked at me with his vampire eyes,
his face as peal as death,
his skin as cold as ice,
his eyes as red as blood,
yet there was something in his eyes I do not know what it was.
His teeth and nails as pointy as knifes which can pierce a pig with great ease.
Every night when I walk outside alone or with a friend,
I feel his eyes in my back when I look around I do not see him.
Yet I know the vampire is still there although I do not see or hear him.
I think he will still follow me and come into my room at night after the hour of death,
or he'll follow me after sunset.
