Flowers
by Bernard Shaw

Daisies are the Fairies Favourite flower.
Their lovely petals are picked every hour.
A cream is made to rub into Fairy faces.
It smoothes away any old age traces.
Small dandelions are a big favourite too.
Fairies mainly use them to make a stew.
Pretty Violets are always in great favour.
To the flower stew they give a tasty flavour.
Primroses are collected to make pastry.
The Fairies tell me that they are very tasty.
Lilies of the Valley all covered in dew.
Also go in to help make the Fairies stew.
The stew is cooked in a very large pot.
A big fairy fire makes and keeps it hot.
Many are the Flowers that the Fairies need.
After all even the Fairies have to feed.
