"You won't want to put it down... Mere Chance is one of those books that once you start, you
won't want to do anything but find out what happens next. This is a GREAT American story..."

What Will They Remember?
by Von E. Weeks

When you think of me, what images will you feel and see?
What little things did I do, that will forever be apart of you?
As the memories start to flow, to what locations will they go?
While analyzing feelings inside, will they be remembered with pride?
Will your relocations bring pain, to your mind again and again?
The little things we do, determine who we are, when life is through.
A tender touch of a face or yelling at others acting like a disgrace.
Have I lifted others to my level, or do I exercise an inner devil.
Maybe I was constantly grumpy, or do I make another’s life less bumpy.
Each little choice goes on the scales, portraying your life’s tales.
Do I give you all you wanted, without having to be confronted?
Have I earned others confidence, or do they make constant allowance.
Will happy moments come to mind, or will thoughts linger that are unkind.
Each thing we choose to do, determines others memories when life is through.
Each day as we walk earths roads, may we try to lift others heavy loads.
Love like this is your only chance, for none know life’s events in advance.
Do not waist time looking to future events, ensure quality of each moment spent.
There’s no guarantee we’ll have a chance again, to be a kind and loving friend.
We are not able to perceive, how many burdens our service can relieve.
So today I try to give loving pieces of myself, for this is the only lasting wealth.
May those I serve see loves merit, as I share with them loves golden carrots.
