Missing My Best Friend
by Ariel La Forge

Sometimes the sorrow is so deep that I just want to let the tears flow
Everyday are those days where I wish it wasn't so
I miss the way you laugh, I miss your touch, I miss you everyday
That is what I can truly say
Day after day I can see your dark mysterious eyes
I can feel your soft lips upon my cheek and hear your voice
If I only had a chance to rewind time I'd change your non-existence,
but I have no choice
I pick the phone up on occasion to call you,
but I end up realizing there will be no answer on your end
You were a great boyfriend, most of all a great friend
I would love nothing more that to tell you "I love you"
I just wish that god could grant me one wish,
To see you once again face to face and to relay a message of love
Your safe in Heaven and can play your music all day long,
so be the angel you are, fly free above
I know that you are safe and free
I want you back that is the way I want it to be.
Pictures and flowers rest at the village where you lay
When I go there I don't want leave you I wanna be near you,
that's where I want to stay
No matter what I do, No matter where I go...
I bring you with me in my heart
Even though you've climbed the Stairway to Heaven,
we'll never be apart.
I miss you and love you so
For now I must go
I will carry you with me wherever I should go
Wherever you go I shall follow.
