Like A Mother
by Brianna Ash

Together we have been through so much.
As a mother you warm and heart felt touch
Made me feel safe, I always knew you were there.
You would help with homework and do my hair.
With your love I know I am never alone.
You can take any place and make it feel like home.
Your there with a shoulder to catch all my tears.
You stay by my side through the night to calm my fears.
Blood didn't bring us together but we are joined at the heart.
I knew you were one person I could count on from the very start.
So I write this to thank you for all you've done for me.
I just hope its clear and you can see.
That no matter what I say or do.
I still know I can always turn to you.
I love you Annie-Girl.
