Hold Me Tight
by Liz Reinhardt

Can anybody hear me?
What can I say?
I don't think I'll last until the end of the day.
So I want you to know,
Before I go.
That I love you, no matter what you do.

I love you from here to Pluto and back.
I know this sounds tacky, I just need you to know.
I love you no matter what, even if it doesn't show.

So take my hand.
Hold it tight.
Tell me you'll love me when day turns to eternal night.
Cause right now, I'm leaving.
I'm not coming back.
This CD is playing it's very last track.
Never again will I hold you tight.
So I'm telling you, my friend, that I love you.
I'm saying it with all my final might.

So, for the last time, I'm going to ask.
Hold me tight, make it last.
Tell me everything will be alright.
Tell me you'll love me when the world turns black.
Tell me you love me, even though I'm not coming back.
Don't let me go.
Without letting me know.
Tell me.
Do you love me?
I really just need to know.

Now it's over.
I'm leaving.
Tell me you love me.
Hold me tight.
