Lord, there is a sister whom I love very much, you see. She has always been very close, in all things to me She has a sickness, we know not what it does to morrow, or bone. But, Lord, I ask Thee, in darkness, don't let her go there alone.
Go with her all the way, when it comes to be that day. Where she knows not where she is, or what we say. She trusts Thee, Lord, and it'd so hard to let her go alone. So, if I can-not go there with her, then Lord, go with her to this home.
Let there be joy and peace there for this sister of mine. In her heart, she always gives to all. I know she is Thine. Keep her safe from harm, let not this world be scary to her. But, let her know that Thou art there, and nothing bad will occur.
Keep her safe, if it happens to be dark, then Jesus, please be her light Let her not fear; let it not be the dark of night. Let her be with Thee all the while; please walk with her there. I do ask Thee Lord, (as in my heart) I go to The in Prayer.
Let her night be safe, and Lord, let her dreams be tender and true. As she awakes each morning, let her know that you are there too. She is sweet and charming; she is going to some kind of home. That's not of a world we know, but, Lord, don't let her go there alone. My Prayer for my Alzheimer's sister Bobbie. |
