When Angels Cry
by Lorene Green

May I proclaim to all ye men
a way so plain ," without end"
one that leads to life sublime,
If each day the latter we climb.

The way you go is by the cross
by the one who suffered dross
The one who died upon a tree
To save the world "and me"

The angels cried on that day
as upon the cross Jesus lay
Gave up the ghost , an then he died
The heaven's wept, an angels cried

His blood ran to hinder an yonder sea's
atonement was made for you an me.

The tears from heaven came falling down,
As rain drops they fell upon the ground.
As upon that rugged cross he died,
Heaven mourned and the angels cried.

On Wings of love, his spirit soared
Back to the Father, and heaven's joys
On God's right hand was our Lord
His place in Heaven was restored

When we see the rain drops fall,
the angels are weeping for us all.
We strayed from God, and caused him pain
he gave his son without blame.

So do not tarry him to receive
its so easy, all he ask "just believe"
We must all endure until the end
An these earthy bonds we'll transcend.

With open arms he stands there waiting
while your sins you're debating.
seek him now without reframe.
Shouts of joy in heaven will be heard,
eyes of all the saints will be blurred

God the Father, and the Angels cry
another has come home, and will not die
As upon that rugged cross he died
Heaven mourned and the angels cried.
