Visit From The Goddess
by Angela Nielsen

You're adorned with clothes spun form the moon
And you chided me. Silly child…I am the moon.

You walk like a person, you feet leave prints,
And yet you don't have a smell or a taste.

I am not of this world, I am the world.
I know it better then you or any of you kind.

I am the daughter of the sky, mistress of the earth,
I am beyond your comprehension,
And yet it's your love that nourishes me.

Take my hand, like marble I notice,
And let me show you what you need to know.

Its all very simple really, life is a cycle, a circle of
Eternity. You live, you die, your body becomes the earth.
You soul moves on, where? That depends…

Ravish my brain, burn my soul, a blissful burn.

The raven on your shoulder talks in you ear,
It's time for you to go.

I am not gone broken one, I am not far.
I'm there when you bleed, when you beg,
I'm not far away when you ask why.

Now that I have seen you
How can I go back to it?

And you were gone, not in any sort of display…
Walked away and became the trees once again,
Or maybe you became the grass I'm not certain.
