The Greatest Love
by
Geneva Poynter

My love is limited by capacity to know;
But God SO loved, He came to show
His love has no such limitation.
He gave Himself for every nation.

Our God came quietly, arriving as infant King,
Then the cross, salvation to bring
To all who will receive that precious Gift.
He'll pump oil to your fire, give needed lift.

The Lord said, "Follow Me, and I will be your Guide for life;
And I'll be there midst good and strife."
It's not the level of MY faith and trust,
He's my Lord and His leading is a must.

The greatest question of Christmas is... What will you do
With God's Gift given here to you?
It may seem strange that you need to receive
God's Gift offered, free to all who believe.

Now you need not solve problems and come proper and prim.
Just come as you are to Him.
Faith doesn't need to be great just to believe.
He Whom you trust is strong... only receive.

All things created perish here in the life we know.
There, eternal life He'll bestow,
God's QUALITY Life shared ETERNALLY,
He promises to each, PERSONALLY
