Thoughts Are Seeds
by James H. Lee Jr.

Thoughts convey the inner self
That's hidden deep inside
The sanctuary of the soul
In whom we oft confide.

Communication thus takes place
Between our mind and spirit,
Where all the world is shut out,
And only God can hear it.

The messages we oft relay
May cause our soul to falter,
Unless we lay our sacrifice
Upon God's heavenly alter.

For thoughts are seeds we're sowing
Inside a tender heart,
Where we will reap the harvest,
When we this life depart.

So keep your thoughts and actions
In tune with Father's will,
And you will harvest happiness,
And be like children still.

For thoughts portray our wishes,
And desires deep within,
And if we think like children,
We'll wear a happy grin.

We'll fill our waking hours
With thoughtful kindly deeds,
And thus become the planter of
A lot of worthwhile seeds.
