The Angels Rejoice
by
Pearlie Duncan Walker

Here upon this old earth; as another gives God; voice
Accepting His Son as Savior; all the Angels rejoice.
It only takes one; to spur the Angels onward; to Gods' goal.
Relate the story of His only Son; that's many times been told.

The Angels rejoice at the victory; of a soul; saved by grace.
I can almost see the gracious smile; upon each loving face.
I'd have been on my way to hell; had not His story been told.
Told by; a caring Christian; whose mighty heart was bold.

In my mind; I can hear the Angels singing a; sweet hello.
I imagine they are "all decked out" in their brightest halo.
Maybe we too; should call upon a soul that's; gone astray.
Bring them to the Lords' fold; Angels may rejoice; another day.

Lord; help me look unto my Savior; let me be His own.
In the life hereafter Lord; help me (never more) to roam.
I'd like to hear Angels sing; as did they; o'er loved ones; before.
That day they entered Heavens' gates; on that beautiful shore.

They must have beautiful voices; to sing unto our Lord;
They must be so in harmony; that they sing of one; sweet accord.
Help us convince those; that will come unto; Thee
In that one glorious day; singing angels; we shall see.
