Quietly Calling
by
David Bradley

The words are spoken to children's ears,
calling them, to ever draw near.

And those who heard him calling their name,
He endowed with special grace and claim.

He still calls to those who on life's sea tossed,
whose ears are attuned to the paid high cost.

Theirs ears unblocked by life's trodden path,
to one who seeks to release our past.

And offers grace and peace and love abound,
to ears that hear the silent sounds.
