Plans
by
David Bradley

The world is like an endless sky,
and life it seems to pass on by.

To live for the moment it seems but a joke,
to treasure each second, enshrouded by a cloak.

The people who plan for futures unfurled,
the schemes and thoughts and voices unheralded.

They grasp to things to hold if they can,
that the little things, go unscanned.

For me the days are all to full,
of evil and, of things that are good.

The Lord who knows our inner thoughts,
shows us each, what time needs to unlock the vaults.

Plan each day as it renews,
unite with loved ones, old and new.

Live for the moment as each day we share,
telling others of love and a savior who cares.

A savior has come and leads but his own,
the future is planned relax and let go.
