Faith and Religion

 

One Nation Under God

THIS STORM
My friend you will see
Is the place where healing
For us will be

If we all in prayer
Unite as one
The waves and winds
Will subside at the hands of GODS beloved SON

“PEACE BE STILL”
Were the words HE said
As they made request of HE alone
Who calmly slept in bed

And HE my friend is the only ONE
Who can grant our prayer
But we must in faith believing
Place our request there

HIS promises
I know are no less true
Than they were back then
So are they now for me and you

Just as HE calmed
The troubled Sea
He can calm all storms
For you and me

What we need do now
Is invoke a National Prayer
Placing THIS STORM
Within HIS care

So please pass along
This prayer request
Knowing if we heed it
GOD WILL do the rest

And once more our Nation
The world will see
Remains: “ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
