Never, never, never give in To Satan's wily ways, Nor compromise your "standards" While in this mortal phase, And never let your guard down, No matter what you do, For Satan's ever ready To get the best of you.
He'll rob you of your happiness, And joy, and peace of mind, And leave you feeling sad and blue, And wishing you could find The feelings that you once felt Before you'd given in, And compromised your "values" While Satan wore a grin.
He doesn't start with "big" things, He knows you'd never yield, But often starts with little things To penetrate your shield, And one by one he gets you To do the little things Which he knows are your weaknesses As mortal human beings.

Never, never, never give in To Satan's wily ways, Nor compromise your "standards" While in this mortal phase, And never let your guard down, No matter what you do, For Satan's ever ready To get the best of you.
