Just A Thought
by
Pearlie Duncan Walker

Friends, have you talked to Christ today? He's just a thought away.
He saved the souls, who trust Him ~ as He died on a cross that day.
Come to Him soon ~ time is growing short ~ heaviness long.
He will cover you too, with just a whisper, of a glorious song.

I belong to Him. That makes me in the rank of regal Blood.
You can be regal too ~ if your thought would pour out a flood . . .
Of thoughts of love ~ for one so divine as He, from Calvary.
Where He thought of us ~ as He gave his life, for you and me.

Thank you, Lord, for every breath I take ~ I know it is from Thee.
Help my friends to give you a thought, and win great victory.
I knelt before Thy Throne, as a child ~ and, I so, believed . . .
And it was then ~ you put your arms around me and received. . . .

Me into the righteous fold ~ for which Thy Kingdom is known.
Help us, Lord, to plant the good seed for the glory, of Thy Throne.
I know, Lord, that you are just a thought away. Help someone today
To come into thy Heavenly home. Lord, just show them the way.

After the next heartbeat ~ we could be with Thee, there in Glory land.
So, please help all who breathe, to try to understand,
That time is wasting. We need to ever be alert to tell a brother.
Tell our Church, our family, and plead His blood for each other.
