Wrap-around presence
shawl of night
grasping straws at loneliness,
sounds arched on moonbeam’s light
ground of envy.
Feather duster of holding wisdom
wind’s pockets snapping by chance,
touch from heaven
velvety chest
of forest’s infinite reason.
Clockwork smile
resonating its dead, malachite calm
a candid overture
entering holding time
of extinction, somehow.
Shadows filled,
portals of coastal light
nature mystifies
empty spaces, again, on such unfoldings. |
