MOTHER?S DAY (acrostic poem)
By Claude Peter Dhuet

Mother, I thank you for bringing me into this wonderful world
Of things that has overwhelmed me and fascinated me
The thought of not having been born I cannot fathom
How some would be mothers can bear to abort their child
Explodes my mind and causes me to weep disgusted
Rest in peace all you unborn children in God?s Kingdom
Sleep in comfort in the arms of the Almighty

During all the many years that I have lived
Always I have been thankful for the gift you gave me
You have been in my heart and will always be.

Dedicated to all mothers ?
