Resolute and Stubborn
by Denver Fredericks

How does it melt into the distance?
Fleeting does not come close
To truly capture the speed of time
A quantum sprint of the prose

The segments used cover a photo finish
And encompass the concept of infinity
But here we sit worried about trivia
The transient tale of a cup of tea

The only way to keep track of events
Are to forget them even better not be there
Then they have the allotted significant
Because they someone else?s cross to bear

One guardian does exist though
The one that ages, wrinkles and wisen
The unseen world order and resolute
The end point surely steadily to hasten
