Life is hard for most everyone-
Whatever your culture may be-
To make it right from day to day-
Does not depend on your family tree.

Few can say " life is a bed of roses"-
For you and you and me-
It all depends on how you make it-
Don't put the blame on me.

I have troubles of my own-
To me they are quite profound-
To each and everyone of us-
We must try to solve it on our own.

Perhaps we're all in different cages-
Maybe it has to be-
I'll sympathize with you-
If you sympathize with me.

Doubtless we are not equally burdened, but its easier to complain than to attempt to solve our problems.
